A passion for food...
Carmen was born and raised in the local area. Whilst living in London she met and married Adriano, who had a passion for life and good food (as you would expect in an Italian). Adriano sadly died in 1999 but he had awakened Carmen's taste buds!
In 2002 Carmen and Phill met and married, and settled back in the area. Having lived in London for fifteen years, Carmen was very used to being able to buy good food in a number of excellent delicatessens, but found this area to be sadly lacking.
Phill suggested that they open a deli to satisfy our own and the needs of other discerning people.
And the rest is history...
