February 14th to 22nd 2009 is Purple Love Week.
It's all about supporting your local businesses with Britains biggest tasting avent being held in thousands of independent food retails up and down the country.
This year it's all about saving the economy!
All you have to do is spend a fiver a day in local shops (preferably ours ;-) ) and tell your friends to do the same!
How can we save the economy on a fiver a day? Well according to a report to the government by the New Economics Foundation a fiver spent in the local economy is actually worth £25! If 2 million people around the country spend an extra £5 on one day, that's worth £10 million!!!
So get on down to your local shops, and drag some friends and relatives along as well and get spending to save the economy...
